All individuals born after 1 January 1972 must also show proof of basic hunter education training from Washington or another state before enrolling in the Master Hunter program.

If required, enclose a copy of your hunter education certificate or the year and state in which you completed your training.

 
Application Forms

The 2009 open application period is closed.
The next open enrollment period will be January 1 – February 15 in 2010. 
New applications will not be accepted before January 1, 2010

Enrollment Application For Master Hunter Permit Program [PDF]
The EAFMHPP is required to apply for a Master Hunter permit. A signed and dated form authorizes the WDFW to conduct a criminal background check. A nonrefundable application fee of $50.00 must be submitted with the form.

Master Hunter Code Of Ethics Agreement Form [PDF]
The MHCOEAF is required of all Master Hunters. A signed, dated form insures that Master Hunters formally agree to abide by the code. This document is required of all new applicants and is also required of individuals who are seeking to renew their certification for an additional five-year period.

Master Hunter Shooting Certification Form [PDF]
The MHSCF is required for new applicants for the Master Hunter Permit Program, as well as for certified Master Hunters that want to qualify with additional legal hunting implements. A signed, dated form insures that Master Hunters have met the shooting proficiency requirements.

Master Hunter Proof Of Service [PDF]
The MHPOS is required of new applicants for the Master Hunter Permit Program and individuals seeking to renew their certification for an additional five-year period. A signed, dated form insures that Master Hunters have met the minimum requirements (20 hours for new enrollments) for project service.
