CONFERENCE CALL April 4, 2002 - 9:00 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Russ Cahill, Chair Jim Lux Will Roehl, Vice Chair Harvey Childs Ron Ozment Joy Johnson Lisa Pelly Mark Quinn Bob Tuck Jeff Tayer Lee Stream Commission Staff: Cindi Confer Debbie Nelson Public: Steve Herman REVIEW OF WENAS WILDLIFE AREA TEMPORARY GRAZING PERMIT: Department staff briefed the Commission on the Wenas Wildlife Area temporary grazing permit. Commissioner Tuck recommended that the Grazing Subcommittee meet to discuss the Wenas temporary grazing permit. Commissioner Cahill requested the Grazing Subcommittee discuss a study plan. If the Department is not satisfied with it, a Commission Request could be presented at the next meeting. REVIEW OF THURSTON COUNTY OFFICE CONSOLIDATION: Department staff briefed the Commission on its review of Thurston County office consolidation.
