CONFERENCE CALL February 16, 2007 - 8:30 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Jerry Gutzwiler, Chair Larry Peck, Deputy Director Miranda Wecker, Vice Chair Tom Davis, Legislative Office Ken Chew Bob Gibbons, Fish Program Gary Douvia Conrad Mahnken Chuck Perry Will Roehl Shirley Solomon Public Commission Staff: None Susan Yeager LEGISLATIVE SESSION UPDATE: Tom Davis and Commissioners discussed the status of and Commissioner viewpoints on legislation related to the conservation and management of fish and wildlife resources in Washington State. TRIPLOID TROUT DISTRIBUTION - DECISION: Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner Wecker, to adopt the 2007 triploid trout stocking plan as presented by staff. The motion carried unanimously. LAKE REHABILITATION PROGRAM SUMMARY - BRIEFING: Bob Gibbons reviewed the 2006 Lake rehabilitation Program, and briefed the Commission on the status of obtaining a new 5-year water quality variance permit. GENERAL DISCUSSION: Commissioners and Deputy Director Peck discussed recent activities and items of interest.
