CONFERENCE CALL July 6, 2007 - 8:30 a.m. Olympia, Washington ATTENDANCE: Commission Department Jerry Gutzwiler, Chair Jeff Koenings, Director Ken Chew Larry Peck, Deputy Director Gary Douvia Ron McQueen, Business Services Conrad Mahnken Bruce Bjork, Enforcement Chuck Perry Phil Anderson, Intergovernmental Will Roehl Margaret Ainscough, Public Affairs Commission Staff: Public Nancy Burkhart None Chair Gutzwiler called the conference call to order at 8:35 a.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner Mahnken, to approve the minutes of the: - May 18, 2007, Commission Conference Call; - May 23, 2007, Commission Special Meeting; and - June 15, 2007, Commission Conference Call. The motion carried unanimously. (Commissioner Perry was absent during discussion and vote on the motion.) COMMISSION BUDGET: Ron McQueen and Commissioners discussed budget allotments for the Commission's operating budget. The Commission will have a special meeting (date to be decided later) in August or September to discuss the Department's Supplemental Budget. DEPARTMENT STAFF: Director Koenings and Commissioners discussed personnel changes in the Director's Office resulting from the Deputy Director's retirement. GENERAL DISCUSSION: Commissioners and Department staff discussed recent activities and items of interest.
