Charles 'Chuck' Perry
Chuck Perry was first appointed in March 2005 and reappointed by Gov. Gregoire in 2007. He graduated from WSU in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Management and Ecology, then worked at WDFW from 1967-2000 in the lands management division. He was a charter member of the Governor's Rangeland Committee and served on the Coordinated Resource Management Task Group.
Chuck served on Ecosystem Standards Committee in 1994, and spent the following year with Department of Natural Resources teaching application of those standards. He continues work on the Douglas County Habitat Conservation Plan as a technical advisor. He also served on the state's Noxious Weed Control Board. Hunting and stream/lake fishing are important lifetime activities. Chuck and his wife Mary are longtime residents of Moses Lake, where he runs a small consulting company promoting sustainable rangeland management in the northwest.
