report on the Department's current biennial

regarding the issues and ways in which

REQUIREMENTS AND DISCHARGE STANDARDS
-- BRIEFING: Department staff
will brief the Commission on the development
of regulations for reporting requirements,
protocols for verifying open ocean ballast
water exchange, and standards for discharge

Crisp, Executive Vice President of the
Eyes in the Woods Association, will
give a brief overview of the volunteer
non-profit association, its vision,
mission, organization, projects and
activities benefitting the natural resources
of the state, and partnerships with
the Department. |

CONTINGENCY PLANNING -- BRIEFING: Department staff will brief the Commission

to address drought risks and liabilities,
identify actions that can be taken,

before or during the workshop but after

Commission workshops are held
to allow informal discussion among Commissioners
and Department staff. They are open to all
who wish to observe Commission activities.
Public input is generally not taken. Times
indicated on the agenda are approximate;
the Commission may adjust the agenda to

Directions and Access to
Natural Resources Building: From I-5,
take State Capitol exit (105). The exit
puts you on 14th Avenue. Go through the
tunnel and turn right onto Capitol Way.
Turn right onto 11th Avenue. Turn right
onto Washington. Turn left into the parking
lot. Visitor parking is on the P-1 level
of the Building. Public access
to the Building after 5:30 p.m. will be
available only through the rotunda doors
located on the west end of the building.
