PETITION TO AMEND WAC 220-95-032 - VLATKO KOLEGA:

Commissioner Van Gytenbeek moved, seconded by Commissioner Pelly, to deny Vlatko Kolega's Petition to Amend WAC 220-95-032, Ranking and Acceptance of Salmon Gill Net-Puget Sound and Salmon Reef Net License Offers. The motion to deny the Petition carried.

COMMISSION REQUEST -- WILD STEELHEAD RELEASE:

Bob Gibbons presented the Department's request for Commission reconsideration of an existing request for Department action regarding wild steelhead release.

Commissioner Van Gytenbeek moved, seconded by Commissioner Pelly, to:

-withdraw the March 16-17, 2001 request that the Department add "Should wild steelhead release be adopted statewide?" to the October sportfish proposal mailout; and

-allow the Department to include two regulation options for wild steelhead harvest limits in the October sportfish proposal mailout for public comment.

The motion carried unanimously.
