Chair Roehl called the conference call to order at
9:05 a.m. The Commission immediately went into Executive
Session. The public was not allowed to attend the Executive
Session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), the Commission met
in Executive Session to discuss with legal counsel representing
the Department, potential litigation to which the Department
is or is likely to become a party.
At 9:25 a.m., the Commission came back into public
session.
PETITION TO AMEND WAC 232-12-619, PERMANENT WASHINGTON
STATEWIDE GAME FISH RULES - CITY OF FORKS, ET AL:
Commissioner Shiosaki moved, seconded by Commissioner
Hunter, to direct the Department to initiate rule-making
regarding appropriate measures for protection and management
of fish resources, specifically including steelhead. The motion carried.
