PROPOSED LAND TRANSACTION - DECISION:
Bob Everitt presented one proposed land transaction
for the Commission's consideration and approval:
- Acquisition of a 44.86-acre property for
the South Padilla Bay and telegraph Slough project in
Skagit County.
At its December 8-9, 2006, Commission meeting, the Commission
continued action on this to the January 12-13, 2007, Commission
meeting. Due to the offer expiring January 4, 2007, the
Commission voted during its regular conference call on
December 15, 2006, to call this special conference call
for the specific purpose of taking action on the above
proposed land transaction.
Two individuals provided oral testimony on the proposed
acquisition during the conference call.
Commissioner Roehl moved, seconded by Commissioner
Perry, to approve the acquisition of the 44.86-acre
Hulbert Farms property in Skagit County for $301,000. The motion carried unanimously. (Commissioner
Shiosaki was absent during the public comment and vote
on the motion.
