Gutzwiler called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m.
SUMMARY
OF COMMISSION REQUESTS:
The Commission will review and update the list of
Commission Requests to the Department at its April
11-12, 2008, Commission Meeting in Pasco.
GENERAL
DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed plans
for a tour prior to the April 11-12, 2008, Commission
Meeting in Pasco. Participants will meet in Clarkston
at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008, to commence
a field trip to the Asotin Wildlife Area for a tour
of the Pintler Creek pilot grazing project. Members
of the public can attend the tour, but must provide
their own transportation. No official public comment
will be taken during the tour.
Other
topics of discussion included: legislative update,
and filling a vacancy on the Commission's Advisory
Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The Wildlife
Committee will interview candidates and report back
to the full Commission with recommendations.
