WHAT:
A. LOWER COLUMBIA RIVER SALMON FISHERY (LCRSF)
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS – UPDATE:
The Commission and Department staff will discuss
the status of the LCRSF stakeholder process and
plans for communicating with Oregon's Fish and Wildlife
Commission.
B. PLANS FOR JOINT MEETING WITH NORTHWEST INDIAN
FISHERIES COMMISSION (NWIFC) – DISCUSSION:
The Commission and Department staff will discuss
plans for an upcoming meeting with the NWIFC and
review proposed agenda items.
C. MID-COLUMBIA WHITE RIVER CHINOOK CAPTIVE BROODSTOCK
PROPOSED TRANSFER – UPDATE:
Department staff will brief the Commission on the
status of a project to relocate mid-Columbia spring
chinook captive Broodstock to Little White Salmon
National Fish Hatchery.
D. GOVERNOR'S LETTER TO THE COMMISSION ON FISHERIES
ISSUES — DISCUSSION:
The Commission will discuss a timeline for responding
to Governor Gregoire’s request for a Commission
status report on salmon fishery challenges, which
is due by January 1, 2009.
E. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Available Commissioners and Department staff will
discuss recent activities and items of interest.

take place via telephone conference call. The public

Commission Office at the Department of Fish and Wildlife,
Natural Resources Building, 5th floor, 1111 Washington
Street SE, Olympia. No public input will be accepted
