Chair Wecker called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE - BRIEFING:
Tom Davis briefed the Commission on the current status of legislation related to the conservation and management of fish and wildlife resource in Washington State.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES – ACTION:
Brenda Kane briefed the Commission on the Region 2 position vacancy on the Commission’s Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities per RCW 77.04.150.

Commissioner Gutzwiler moved, seconded by Commissioner Orr, to appoint Tom Baskin to the Region 2 position on the Commission’s Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The motion carried unanimously.

GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Topics of discussion included:

- Preparation for Director search - Possible joint meetings with Washington Conservation Commission and Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission - Communications Scoping Document

Chair Wecker adjourned the meeting at 9:17 a.m.

Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities Appointment	- Motion by Gutzwiler, second by Orr, to appoint Tom Baskin to the Region 2 position on the Commission’s Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities. The motion carried unanimously.
