FISH AND WILDLIFE COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING via CONFERENCE CALL*

WHEN: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 -- 8:30 a.m.

WHAT:

A. SOUND CHINOOK FISHERIES MANAGEMENT PLAN – UPDATE:
As a follow-up to the Commission’s July 17, 2009, meeting via conference call, Department staff will provide a status update on the PS Chinook Management Plan.

B. DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR CANDIDATE SEARCH UPDATE:
The Commission, along with representatives from the Dept. of Personnel Executive Careers will discuss the current status of the Department Director candidate search, including results from a recent public survey, search process timeline and potential interview questions.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110, (g), the Commission will go into executive session to review employment applications for the Department Director position and to discuss the qualifications of specific applicants. The public is not permitted to attend the executive session. No final hiring decisions will be made during the executive session.

*WHERE:
The meeting will take place via telephone conference call. The public may listen to the discussion via speakerphone in the Commission Office at the Department of Fish and Wildlife, Natural Resources Building, 5th floor, 1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia. No public input will be accepted during the call, and the public is not permitted to listen to executive session.
