FISH AND WILDLIFE COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING

The Commission called a special meeting to interview candidates for the Department Director position. The public is not permitted to attend the interviews, which will be conducted during executive session. The public portions of this meeting will be recorded and the audio will be posted on the Internet by the day after adjournment. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19

7:30 AM	DIRECTOR SEARCH PROCESS - INTERVIEW PROTOCOLS Audrey Ely and Anthony Cesario will brief Commissioners on protocols for interviewing Department Director position candidates, followed by announcement of Executive Session.
7:45 AM	EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(g), the Commission will go into executive session to review employment applications for the Department Director position and conduct interviews with individual candidates. The public is not permitted to attend the executive session. No final hiring decisions will be made during the executive session.
5:30 P.M.	RECONVENE: The Commission will reconvene in public session just before recessing for dinner. If any action is necessary, it will be taken during open public session. DINNER BREAK

8:30 AM	CALL TO ORDER: Announcement of Executive Session.
8:31 AM	DIRECTOR SEARCH – EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(g), the Commission will immediately go into executive session to review employment applications for the Department Director position and conduct interviews with individual candidates. The public is not permitted to attend the executive session. No final hiring decisions will be made during the executive session.
5:30 PM	RECONVENE: The Commission will reconvene in public session just before adjourning the meeting. If any action is necessary, it will be taken during open public session. ADJOURN
