Chair Wecker called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
NOVEMBER 6-7, 2009, COMMISSION MEETING PREPARATION – DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed agenda items for its November 6-7, 2009, meeting in Olympia, including status updates on the swan reserve boundary issue, marine reserve area proposals, and topics for the Commission’s annual meeting with Governor Gregoire.
COMMISSION OUTREACH TO LEGISLATORS:
Department staff and Commissioners discussed ideas for improving communications between the Commission and the Legislature.
GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed recent activities and items of interest, including possible alternatives to the 2010 Commission meeting calendar.
