5-7:30 PM PUGET SOUND CRAB FISHERY OVERVIEW – WORK SESSION*:
Commissioners and Department staff will discuss information relevant to the Puget Sound Crab Allocation Policy C-3609, including the history of the Dungeness crab fishery in Puget Sound, existing management strategies, and stock status trends. Staff will propose a timeline for consultations with the Recreational and Commercial Advisory Groups and the Commission will provide guidance to the Department on specific proposal options to take forward to stakeholders in preparation for a future review of the Policy.
