Chair Wecker called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.
PUGET SOUND CRAB POLICY REVIEW - BRIEFING
Rich Childers briefed the Commission on the history of the Dungeness crab fishery in Puget Sound, existing management strategies, and stock status trends and presented potential options for possible amendments to Commission Policy C-3609, Puget Sound Crab Fishery. The Commission discussed various options for staff to present during public meetings for discussions with stakeholders on preferred options.
The Commission will continue discussing this topic during its March 12-13, 2010 meeting in Olympia.
Chair Wecker adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
