Chair Wecker called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Commissioner Schmitten moved, seconded by Commissioner Orr, to approve minutes of the following Commission meetings as presented:
- August 21, 2009, meeting;
- September 11-12, 2009, meeting;
- September 18, 2009, meeting via conference call; and
- November 20, 2009, meeting via conference call
The motion carried.
(Commissioner Jennings and Commissioner Perry were absent during the discussion and vote on this item.)
B. SUMMARY OF COMMISSION REQUESTS:
The Commission and Director reviewed and made updates to the current list of requests.
C. COMMISSION COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Commissioners discussed recent activities of the various Commission committees.
D. REVIEW OF COMMISSION POLICY DECISIONS:
The Commission discussed recommendations of the Commission’s Fish Committee for rescinding old/obsolete Commission Policy Decisions.
Commissioner Douvia moved, seconded by Commissioner Jennings, to rescind the following Commission Policies, as proposed:

C-3004, Sea Urchin/Sea Cucumber;
- C-3006, Aquatic Invertebrate Disease Control;
- C-3007, Kelp Import Permits; and
- C-3014, Ocean Spot Shrimp Fishery.
The motion carried unanimously.
E. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed recent activities and items of interest, including status of the special legislative session, appointment of Ann Larson as Legislative Liaison and Nathan Pamplin as Deputy Assistant Director for Wildlife Program.
Chair Wecker adjourned the meeting at 9:41 a.m.
