A. WILDLIFE INTERACTION REGULATIONS – UPDATE:

Department staff will brief the Commission on the status of proposed Chapter 232-36 WAC, Wildlife Interaction Regulations, that will help address wildlife property damage and other human/wildlife conflicts and implement legislation passed in 2009 (SHB 1778). The Commission held a public hearing on the proposals during its April 9-10, 2010, meeting in Leavenworth. The Commission may consider postponing adoption of permanent rules to its June 4-5, 2010, Commission meeting in Spokane.

B. PETITION FOR RULE CHANGE, DEER AND ELK HUNTING – DECISION:

Following a briefing by Wildlife Program staff, the Commission will consider a petition for rule change, which was received from a citizen who wants the Commission to make changes to deer and elk hunting regulations in WAC 232-28-351 and WAC 232-28-351.
