A. HUNTER REPORTING REQUIREMENTS – RULE BRIEFING, PUBLIC HEARING & RULE ACTION:

Department staff will brief the Commission on proposed amendments to WAC 232-28-299, Mandatory report of hunting activity, to make them consistent with rules adopted by the Commission earlier this year. For more details, visit the Department’s “Rules Information Center” webpage at: http://www.wdfw.wa.gov/about/regulations. Following the public input opportunity, the Commission will consider adoption of final amendments.

B. PUGET SOUND CRAB POLICY UPDATES – DISCUSSION:

Commissioners and Department staff will discuss possible updates to Commission Policy C-3609, Puget Sound Crab Policy. A public hearing on proposed changes is planned for the August 6-7, 2010, Commission meeting in Olympia, with intended adoption scheduled for the October 1-2, 2010, Commission meeting in Olympia.

C. PROPOSED 2011-2013 DEPARTMENT BUDGET PACKAGES – BRIEFING:

Department staff will brief the Commission on proposed 2011-2013 operating and capital budget decision packages. The Commission will consider calling a special meeting on August 5, 2010, at which time final approval could take place.
