Chair Wecker called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m.
A. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE:
Ann Larson and Director Anderson reviewed the current status of and discussed with Commissioners legislation related to fish, wildlife and natural resource management, including fiscal impacts and budget proposals.
B. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed items of general interest, including:
Department Awards Ceremony overview/results
Topics for annual meeting with the Governor
Columbia River Spring Chinook run
Wolves and wolf plan status
Meeting date change: June 17 conference call
Hearing no objections, Chair Wecker said the Commission’s June 17, 2011, conference call meeting date is changed to June 16, 2011. The Commission office will distribute notice of the change to those who have requested to receive email notices and make sure it’s posted on the Commission meeting website.
