Vice Chair Douvia called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.
DRAFT WOLF MANAGEMENT & CONSERVATION PLAN - STATUS UPDATE: Director Anderson and Nate Pamplin briefed the Commission on a recent meeting of the Wolf Working Group regarding the draft Environmental Impact Statement/Wolf Conservation and Management Plan.
GENERAL DISCUSSION: Commissioners and the Director discussed recent activities and items of interest, including:
Commissioner Mahnken’s re-appointment
Upcoming Department meeting regarding cougar
Correspondence between the Commission and the Governor
WAFWA Summer Conference
Discover Pass Implementation
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), the Commission met in executive session to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency is, or is likely to become, a party. The public was not permitted to attend the executive session and no decisions were made during executive session.
Vice Chair Douvia announced at 10:00 a.m. that the Commission was extending the time of the executive session until no later than 10:15 a.m.
Vice Chair Douvia resumed in public session at 10:05 a.m. and adjourned the meeting.
