FISH AND WILDLIFE COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
The Commission has called a special meeting for August 29, 2011 in Ellensburg to receive briefings by Department staff and discuss the final Environmental Impact Statement/Recommended Wolf Conservation and Management Plan. Following the briefing and Commission discussion, there will be an opportunity for public input.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), the Commission will meet in executive session to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency is, or is likely to become, a party. No action will be taken in executive session, and the public is not permitted to attend the executive session.
WOLF CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN – BRIEFING & DISCUSSION:
Department staff will brief the Commission on the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS)/Recommended Wolf Conservation and Management Plan (Plan), followed by Commission discussion. The Commission may consider final approval of the Plan later this year.

The Commission will continue its discussions on the wolf plan, followed by an opportunity for public input.
The Commission plans to hold additional special meetings on October 6 and November 3, 2011, in Olympia, to continue discussing the FEIS/Plan and hear public comment.
