WHEN: Friday, September 16, 2011 -- 8:30 a.m.
WHAT:
A. PETITION TO AMEND WAC RULES, WATERFOWL REGULATIONS - DECISION:
The Commission will consider a petition for rulemaking received from a citizen pursuant to RCW 34.05.330 (Petition to Adopt, Amend or Repeal Rules) and related to WAC 232-12-257, Use of decoys and calls. The petitioner seeks amendments to allow the use of battery powered spinning wing decoys. The Commission will decide whether to commence the rule making process for possible amendments to the existing WAC regulations.
B. COMMISSION MEETING CALENDAR - DISCUSSION:
The Commission will continue discussing potential meeting dates and locations for setting its 2012 calendar and will consider whether to change the location of its November 3-5, 2011, meetings from Olympia to Spokane. The Commission will consider approval of 2012 meeting dates and locations at its October 7-8, 2011, meeting in Olympia.
C. MINUTES FOR APPROVAL:
The Commission will consider approval of various meeting minutes. This item was postponed from the September 2, 2011, Commission meeting via conference call.
D. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and the Director will discuss recent activities and items of interest, including agenda items for the October 6, 7-8, 2011, Commission meetings in Olympia.

This meeting will take place by telephone conference call. The public may listen to the discussion on speakerphone by coming to the Commission Office at the Department of Fish and Wildlife headquarters, Natural Resources Building, 5th Floor, 1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia. No public input will be accepted during the call.
