Vice Chair Douvia called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m.
A. COMMISSION MEETING CALENDAR – DISCUSSION/DECISION:
The Commission discussed moving the November 3, 4-5 meeting to Spokane thus making the entire meeting a Special meeting.
Commissioner Douvia moved, seconded by Commissioner Wecker to hold the November 3, 4-5 Special Meeting in Spokane. The motion carried unanimously.
B. MINUTES FOR APPROVAL:
Suspended approval of minutes until the November 4, 2011 meeting.
C. GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Commissioners and Department staff discussed items of general interest, including Salmon Virus in British Columbia; Washington Cattlemen’s Association petition for wolf delisting and formal position paper; Appreciation of Director Anderson’s response to the Okanogan County petition; Wildlife Committee meetings; 10% package budget reductions and the Bilateral Executive Session of the Pacific Salmon Commission
Vice Chair Douvia began the Executive Session at 9:10 and reconvened the meeting at 9:39. The meeting was adjourned at 9:46 a.m.
