FISH AND WILDLIFE COMMISSION
MEETING via CONFERENCE CALL*

WHEN:  Friday, November 18, 2011 -- 8:30 a.m.

WHAT:

A. Update from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Manager, Ken Berg - Overview:
Provide a brief overview of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s activities associated with wolves in Washington.

B. Petition to Repeal the recently enacted amendments to WAC 232-12-243 - Decision:
The Commission will consider a petition for rulemaking received from a citizen pursuant to RCW 34.05.330 (Petition Repeal Rules) and related to recently enacted amendments to WAC 232-12-243 that modify the criteria for determining when WDFW can issue permits to remove cougars with the aid of dogs under the public safety cougar program.

C. Minutes for Approval - Decision:
The Commission will consider approval of the November 3-4, 2011 meeting minutes.

D. General Discussion
Commissioners and the Director will discuss recent activities and items of interest.

This meeting will take place by telephone conference call.  The public may listen to the discussion on speakerphone by coming to the Commission Office at the Department of Fish and Wildlife headquarters, Natural Resources Building, 5th Floor, 1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia.  No public input will be accepted during the call.
