Chinook boat angling continued to improve this week Pole hours were reduced to 8.3 hrs. per chinook. The Hanford Reach above the wooden power lines was closed to chinook retention on 10/22. After the close of the upper portion of the Hanford Reach chinook were retained at a rate of one chinook per 13 pole hrs. Chinook retention from the bank appeared to decrease this week with one chinook per 32.2 pole hrs. Bank anglers appear to continue to target steelhead this week.
