For the month of December
an estimated 173 steelhead were caught in the Ringold area steelhead fishery;
149 ad rv, 23 ad only, and 4 wild. The 2006 November catch is well above
2005 and similar to catch in 2004 and 2003. Total catch for the fishery
this season is 1,278 steelhead. Only 55 wild steelhead (4.3% of the total)
have been caught and released to date. WDFW staff interviewed 31% of the
estimated angler effort for the month.
