Salmon/Steelhead -

Cowlitz River - Bank anglers near the salmon hatchery continue to catch coho.

Lake Scanewa (Cowlitz Falls Reservoir) - Including fish released, boat anglers averaged 2.3 coho per rod. About half the fish were released. Bank anglers were also catching some coho.

Kalama River - Bank anglers near the deadline are catching some coho and steelhead. Most of the coho are being released.

Lewis River - Bank anglers are catching coho near the salmon hatchery although most of the fish are being released (dark). Boat anglers are catching some bright fall chinook.

Klickitat River - Bank anglers averaged a little over a coho kept per rod.

Sturgeon

Lower Columbia mainstem from the Wauna power lines to Bonneville Dam - Bank angling below Bonneville Dam continues to slow. However, boat anglers in the gorge continue to catch some keepers.

In November, 8,200 angler trips produced a catch of 1,600 legal sturgeon. Almost all the catch was from the gorge with OR and WA bank anglers accounting for nearly 3/4 of that catch.

Trout -

Riffe Lake - 817 adult sea run cutthroat weighing a pound each were released there November 28.

Klineline Pond - Bank anglers are catching rainbows and browns in the swimming area. Biscuit dough or pink/green Power Bait are the baits of choice.
