Hanford Reach
- This week was a surprise with 265 adult chinook and 97 jacks caught
compared to 204 adult and 21 jacks in 2006. Anglers averaged 1 fish
for every 2 rods, or 1 fish for every 13.4 pole hours. Cooler weather
and stable water flows may have contributed to the higher catch rates.
On Saturday there was a Derby for the family of Jeff Johansson which
increased the amount of fishing guides to the area and in turn contributed
to the higher catch rate. Fish condition has been great with the cooler
water temps in the low 60's.
