Willapa
Bay
The Willapa Bay fishery began on September 16, 2007 and continued through
October 11 with 2 breaks on September 22 and September 29 and 30 in
Areas 2G, 2H, 2J, 2M and 2K (some boundary areas were limited). There
was no directed fishery on chum this year. White Sturgeon retention
begins November 6 through 30, 2007 using 9-inch minimum mesh with a
4-day late coho directed fishery November 12-16 using either 6”
or 9” maximum mesh but only one can be used. here was NO RETENTION
Green Sturgeon allowed.

Grays
Harbor
The Grays Harbor fishery began with an 8-hr nighttime fishery on October
8, 2007 in Area 2C. This was followed by 3 consecutive, 12 hr days on
October 11-13 in Areas 2A and 2D with boundary lines limited. Another
8-hr nighttime fishery scheduled on October 15 in Area 2C. Gear restriction
was 6-inch maximum mesh, soak time was limited to 1 hour and no live
boxes were required.(See the 2007

and gear restrictions).There was NO RETENTION Green Sturgeon allowed.
