HARVEST PROFILE: DNR-69 is located just south of DNR-68. DNR-69 comprises nearly a linear half mile of beach. It is mostly sand flats with some pockets of gravel. Available clam species include native littleneck clams, butter clams, cockles and horse clams. Clam harvest opportunity on DNR-69 is probably very similar to clam harvest opportunity on DNR-68.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Access to DNR-69 is via Point No Point County Park. DNR-69 can also be reached from Point No Point Lighthouse Park (see DNR-68 for directions). To reach Point No Point County Park from Kingston and the Kingston ferry terminal, travel west on Highway 104 through Kingston and continue for about two miles to the intersection of Highway 104 and Hansville Highway. Take a right and continue north on Hansville Highway for about six miles. Look for the right turn onto Gus Halvor Road. Take a right on Gus Halvor Road and continue for about a half mile where the road intersects with Thors Road NE. Take a left and proceed for about a quarter mile. The entrance to the park is on the right. There is a small parking area just outside the park gate. Use the trail through the park to reach the stairs that descend to the beach. The distance from the entrance to the stairs is about a half mile. When you reach the beach walk north for about a half mile. The boundaries of DNR-69 and DNR-68 are not marked, but there is an old land slide and partially exposed clay bluff on the upland just past the northern boundary of DNR-69.

FACILITIES: There is a pit toilet at Point No Point County Park.
