Comments:

Surveyed in 1979 and 1981 by WDFW. Fished 1981; 2,680,000 lbs reported. Resurveyed in 1982 by WDFW; 25 transects. Resurveyed in 1993 by WDFW; 16 transects. Resurveyed in 2000 by WDFW; 16 transects. Average density estimates (using approximately the same 16 stations, corrected with a 0.75 show factor) are 0.02 geoducks/sq. ft. in 1982, 0.06 geoducks/sq. ft. in 1993, 0.07 geoducks/sq. ft. in 2000. Average pre-fishing density estimate (corrected with 0.75 show factor) is 0.17 geoducks/sq. ft. Density estimate in the Atlas table is corrected with 0.75 show factor.
