2012 Catchable Trout Plants

Stocking weeks are target dates and will be dependent on availability and hatchery schedules. Some lakes will receive successive subsequent plants to extend the fishing.

Stocking Month: Exact dates are not known at this time.  Stocking timing will be left to the convenience of the hatcheries.
Fish Species: CT=Cutthroat trout, BT=brown trout, RB=rainbow trout, TRB=triploid rainbow trout, KO=kokanee, and TT=tiger trout
Fishing Season: OD=4th Saturday in April to October 31, YR=Year-Round, and 01-June=June 1 to October 31
Catchables: Rainbow trout that have been reared at WDFW facilities and are 2.0 to 2.5 fish per pound in size, i.e. they weigh 0.5 to 0.4 pounds each.
Jumbos: Rainbow trout that have been reared at WDFW facilities that weigh 1 pound or more each.
Triploids: Triploid rainbow trout that have been purchased by the WDFW.  Each fish weighs about 1.5 pounds.  Stocking numbers are tentative awaiting WDFW Commission approval.
Fry/Fingerlings: Fish that have been reared at WDFW facilities that were released as spring-fry or fall-fingerlings in 2011.
