Comments:
I support this proposed rule change and would also stop all retention of bull trout on the Skagit River. In addition, I would like to see the Nooksack River added to this list.

Comments:
Do not approve this proposal. Take a good look at what has happened in the South Fork of the Skykomish where hatchery Steelhead carried over Sunset Falls with the returning salmon over several years have naturalized into a significant run. Coordinated with salmon runs this can be done in other streams.

WILD STEELHEAD MANAGEMENT ZONES RECOMMENDATIONS Establish regional wild steelhead zones in Skagit River and all tributaries Solduc and Calawha Rivers Satsop River.... We have had 100 years of Hatcheries with out any thought that they may be part of the problem. Get these wild steelhead zones in place and give these fish a chance to recover please.
