Other Description
Rule to Change:
JOE CREEK (Grays Harbor Co.)(Pacific Beach)from State Hwy. 109 Bridge to Ocean Beach Rd. Bridge (323)
New Rule Proposal:
JOE CREEK (Grays Harbor Co.) (Pacific Beach) from the MOUTH to the Ocean Beach Rd. Bridge (323)
Why the change is needed:
This would give the people staying at the State Park in Pacific Beach an opportune time to use Joe Creek when the Salmon are in the stream. There is very limited access for fishing this stream above the State Hwy. 109. This could also be what is needed to have more people use the Pacific Beach State Park at that time of year.

WDFW Rule Proposal Recommendation

Not Recommended for further consideration     Reference ID: DFW822310

Reasons not recommended for further consideration

Salmon, goes through the North of Falcon process
This proposal deals with salmon. Salmon seasons are set through the Pacific Fisheries Management Council/North of Falcon process. This process adopts a cohesive set of rules for sport and commercial salmon fisheries, from ocean fisheries to those inside Puget Sound including freshwater fisheries each year during March and April.

Your proposal will be provided to the manager(s) responsible for this species so that it can be considered during the appropriate rulemaking process.
