Rule to Change: Five fish limit on merwin reservoir.
New Rule Proposal: Increase the five fish limit to seven or more on merwin reservoir.
Why the change is needed: THOUSANDS of kokanee come back to speelyai creek, spawn and die at the hachery. The hatchery only needs 150 pair to make its brood stock goal. The banks of speelyai bay are litered with carcases after the adults spawn in the creek. With all the other creeks that produce natural spawning like canyan creek and rock creek to name a few. This limit could easily be raised ! More fish in a limit will stimulate more license sales ! Even if it is only a little more revenue it all counts right ?? Thank you
