New Rule Proposal: Yocum Lake (Pend Oreille Co.)
ALL SPECIES - internal combustion engines prohibited.

Why the change is needed: Pend Oreille County has asked that we align WDFW regulations with the county ordinance that prohibits use of internal combustion engines on Yocum Lake. Yocum Lake has a pair of breeding common loons which may benefit from reinforcement of the county ordinance by limiting disturbance.

Explanation This lake is small and does not require an internal combustion motor to allow for good angling access. In addition, Pend Oreille County has requested that DFW fishing regulations align with the county ordinance that prohibits the use of internal combustion motors on Yocum Lake.
