Rule to Change: Stream fishing regulations for trout in part of the State are still in the wrong format.
New Rule Proposal: Stream fishing regulations for trout in the remainder of the State need to be converted to the proper format.
Why the change is needed: Stream fishing regulations for trout in the remainder of the State need to be converted from an OPEN UNLESS CLOSED format to a CLOSED UNLESS OPEN format. This change has already been implemented for all tributaries to the Puget Sound Basin, for tributaries to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and for all Washington Coastal streams. This conversion needs to be completed Statewide.
