Change Salmon Rule: (Eliminate the following)
SALMON First Sat. in June-July 31 Min. Size 8". Daily Limit 6. Up to two adults may be retained. Release wild COHO.
Why the change is needed: Tacoma Power is currently stocking catchable, adipose fin clipped rainbow trout into the West Fork Tilton River (FERC Mitigation). Beginning in 2013 they will no longer be able to release catchable trout due to the prohibition of releasing catchable trout in anadromous waters based on the WDFW Statewide Steelhead Management Plan. The proposed regulation reverts back to wild trout rules.
Eliminate part of the SALMON rule because no salmon are released in June and July.
