State Dept. of Health cautions that Clams, Oysters and Mussels from this beach are not fit for human consumption at any time. Shellfish harvesting should be avoided from the eastern reaches of Fort Worden State Park beach. This area lies within a sewage treatment plant outfall closure zone. Please use the Dept. of health link for more details about this closure.
