Harvest profile

This is an excellent oyster beach located off the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife Hoodsport Hatchery located at the north end of the village of Hoodsport off Highway 101. To access the oyster beds, harvesters must wade a shallow crossing at Finch Creek as it drains out past the hatchery rearing ponds. This crossing may be slippery. During shellfish harvesting tides, this channel is usually easily crossed in knee boots. Please respect any posted signs about access, parking, and property boundaries.
