Chambers Lake is a shallow weedy lake (actually two lakes connected by a non-navigable canal). Historically an attempt has been made to control aquatic vegetation with stocked grass carp, but none have been stocked since 2002. The lake is open year-round and offers good to fair fishing for naturally reproducing largemouth bass, yellow perch, brown bullhead catfish, and stocked channel catfish. A relatively shallow lake, Chambers offers good opportunity for warm water "site-fishing". Bag and size limits are set according to statewide regulations.
The WDFW access, which is operated and maintained by Thurston County Parks, has a boat launch and two toilets. There is some shoreline access along the Chehalis-Western trail. Internal combustion engines are prohibited.
