Fishing opportunities included Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Brown Bullhead. Stocked catchable-size Rainbow Trout provide fair-to-good fishing in the early season. Larger triploid rainbows are also stocked annually. Kokanee fishing in Meridian is very good for 8-11 inch fish from April through August. Both the WDFW and the City of Kent (City of Kent) provide access to the lake on the southeast shore via a concrete boat ramp and fishing pier, respectively.
