Howell Lake is one of a number of small, fundeveloped lakes located in the Tahuya State forest. The lake is stocked in April with catchable-size (10"-12") rainbow trout.
The DNR access site has a primitive ramp and a closed gate requires a short walk to the lake after mid-June.
