Naneum Pond is located about three miles east of Ellensburg off Vantage Highway on Naneum Road. With a year-round open season, this small pond is open only to juvenile anglers (under 15 years old).It is stocked with catchable-sized rainbow trout in early the spring. The lake is also stocked with some 1-pound "jumbo" rainbow trout. Sunfish species are also available. Best fishing is early in the spring as the pond becomes very weedy and difficult to fish in late spring and summer.
