The lake is located in Fort Borst Park in Centralia. It is an old gravel pit managed for catchable rainbow and warmwater species.
The fishing season runs from the last Saturday in April through the end of February. The lake is stocked with catchable rainbow in late December/January and stocked again prior to the April opener with catchable rainbow and triploids.
There is an additional closure the Monday before Thanksgiving, and reopened the Friday after Thanksgiving for the "Black Friday opener". 2000 rainbows at 1.25 lbs each will be planted for this event.
