North Windmill Lake is located near Windmill, Canal, and Heart Lakes. The lake was rehabilitated in 2010 to eradicate nuisance fish species and restore the Rainbow Trout fishery. Since the rehabilitation, fishing has been good for trout 12-18 inches. A short hike is required to access North Windmill Lake. It is best fished from a float tube, pontoon boat, or canoe.
