Depression Lake
Depression Lake is a drainage basin developed to regulate water levels of Baker Lake reservoir, the uppermost pool of the Puget Sound Energy Baker River Hydroelectric Project.  There are several campgrounds in the area operated by the U.S. Forest Service and PSE. Stocked rainbow trout is the species of interest. Fishing is best in the deeper portions of the lake, especially as the waters warm.  Anglers should use caution when fishing around the intake forebay sectioned off by the orange boom.
