Takhlakh Lake is a beautiful mountain lake with a spectacular view of Mt. Adams. The lake contains eatern brook, rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. Catchable rainbows and some broodstock rainbow are planted annually.
There is a Forest service campground and boat ramp. Electric motors only.
The lake is open year round for fishing, but lake access is usually blocked by snow until late spring/early summer. And access to the lake is again blocked by snow around mid-November.
